practice makes perfect.
experience is the best teacher.
knowledge is mutual.
technology is best used properly.
human is a faux living being.
i am a human.
i don't really follow technology.
i have my own knowledge.
i love my own experience.
i practice and i have my own standard of perfection.
so you say, out of the box?
which box are you pointing at?

Art & Copy
Hate advertising? Make better ads
ART & COPY is a powerful new film about advertising and inspiration. Directed by Doug Pray (SURFWISE, SCRATCH, HYPE!), it reveals the work and wisdom of some of the most influential advertising creatives of our time -- people who've profoundly impacted our culture, yet are virtually unknown outside their industry. Exploding forth from advertising's "creative revolution" of the 1960s, these artists and writers all brought a surprisingly rebellious spirit to their work in a business more often associated with mediocrity or manipulation: George Lois, Mary Wells, Dan Wieden, Lee Clow, Hal Riney and others featured in ART & COPY were responsible for "Just Do It," "I Love NY," "Where's the Beef?," "Got Milk," "Think Different," and brilliant campaigns for everything from cars to presidents. They managed to grab the attention of millions and truly move them. Visually interwoven with their stories, TV satellites are launched, billboards are erected, and the social and cultural impact of their ads are brought to light in this dynamic exploration of art, commerce, and human emotion.
Brand-led barcodes
As Silus at JKR comments, "Esquire magazine has been quietly playing with its barcode for a while, tailoring it to each month’s big feature. Having a little fun is a great way to imbue a brand with soul, and all the better for being discovered rather than telegraphed. Below are some more neat examples:"

It was aMEWzing
9 august 2009
i caught a cold and flu and i didn't like the wind in the beach. and McDonalds. and the fact they took my Double Cheeseburger ( i forgot) and the fact that i sweat a lot, due to my illness. and it was windy!! (oh i've mentioned it before,eh?) and...the smoke. and oh, all of the people who didn't know Mew. Tck!
but i like it when i dance, when i laughed, when i WOW, when i got blue, yellow, purple, green, red, sparkling colors reflected from my eyes, when i sweat for happines, when i scream, when i forgot my illness, when i didin't see the singer but focusing on their songs.
i liked it when i was there and the world were all mine.

Loop & Repeat & ViceVersa
and so my love, this is almost the end. i said, the end! an exclamation point for you to understand. enough months of assumption and presumption that has successfully brought back the rain. or nice dream and imagination that have made my heartbeat run to the furthest place it had made. and now seems like the hope and sorrow are put back to where it belong. over there. to the first time i found them. wrapped in thin metal armor and some ivory leaves.
then so my love, i'd like to chew a nice strawberry menthol gum right now. while watching the clock clocking clicking counter clockwise. and oh, a hot english breakfast mixed lychee Dilmah Tea, with a pour of one third spoon of yellow sugar. and sit over here. watching. starting. all over again.
let's move on and repeat the future.
