Artsy Sunday

One of my favorite thing to do in the weekend is visiting an exhibition, especially an art&craft exhibition. Last Sunday, another art/design/craft (creative) exhibition was held in Jakarta Hilton Convention Center. It contains all craft around Indonesia. Actually i've visited exhibition like this before and i found all were very similar. But that Sunday was different, dunno, maybe there were several school/university delegation, showing their artworks - which i thought was very stunning and impressive :)

Heart New Gelael

I've been living with Gelael since i was a little girl. I have 2 Gelael in my area, now they down into 1. And a few months ago the only one in MT Haryono, near Pancoran; has evolved! And i like the transformation.

Pizza ebirra

Located at some corner place in EX Plaza Indonesia. Right across the Honeymoon Dessert.

Umm.. at first i doubt this place. Sorry for my very fuddy-duddy head but thanks to my besties, i finally got the chance to try something new. Other then McD and Pizza Hut and Bakmi GM :| (l.a.m.e)

Pizza ebirra has these what i called, a nice environment. I like the overall interior design, the feel, the menu, the drawing, how they serve, everything. Even if the price were a bit above my budget (darn it) but i think it was worth it :)

Tergoda dengan artikel di tabloid Bisnis Indonesia 5 Agustus 2007 lalu tentang Praha , ibukota Ceska itu, dan nuansa glam gothic architecture style-nya bikin saya pingin cepat kaya. (kau tahu maksudnya…)

Nggak beda dengan menyentuh patung Budha di Borobudur yang akan mengabulkan permintaan, dengan menyentuh patung St.John Nepomuceno, khasiatnya (katanya) sama saja. Jadi ingat pelajaran sejarah gaya seni tiap era dulu karena perhatian saya tertuju bukan pada minimalis, Dali, Bauhaus, realis, tapi era Art Nouveau yang penuh dengan sulurnya itu. Kalau kata si Bapak, sulur itu nggak efektif dalam gambar (padahal iklan sekarang pada pakai sulur, kesannya maunya jadi cantik tapi kalau nggak cocok digunakan dan nggak ada maksudnya jadi kasian: ANEH).

Eits jangan salah, nggak hanya Art Nouveau saja di dalamnya. Teman-teman setipenya seperti Baroque, Renaissance, Cubist, Gothic dan Neo-Classical (semua setipe mirip-mirip karena eranya berderetan) juga diwakilkan oleh bangunan di sana. Saya amat tidak sabar untuk melihat semuanya.

Um, selain pengamen di Indonesia apalagi di Bandung yang tiap angkot berhenti nyamperin terus ‘punten aa.. teteh..’, saya ingin menyaksikan bagaimana pengamen di luar negri, dan di Praha ini pun kebetulan juga ada. Pengamen yang ‘didatangi’, bukan ‘mendatangi’. Aih!

But I gotta have local dictionary coz most of them can’t speak English.
